A literally colorful tale, the shadows are not so black-and-white in regards to intent and providence. Jasiah left a lot out there to look forward to experiencing in future installments, like a fabled sailor's adventures, a land of walking dead, and whether Riki Tiki Tavi can kill off some King Cobra's ... wait, wrong story for that last part.

I hope he collects them all into a short volume of adventure. Wait - maybe I should do that! ;)

If there's a tally being taken, mark me down for "Yeah, you should!"

I really enjoyed this. The first person perspective worked well. I hope to see more of the protagonist, but the Purple Priestess intrigues me as well.

I think he plans more stories in both worlds. Very creative.

The story was short and sweet but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would also like to hear more about the black Mongoose our elusive murderess. I also believe that The hero of our story The mage thief will also become the lover to the purple priestess our voluptuous archmage. The story left me wanting more and as an Arthur that's a good thing as a reader I thoroughly enjoyed the short story I'd recommend it to any of my friends and family and anyone out there that's willing to listen to this review.
